U.S. EMBASSY PRESENTS MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS TO MARDAKAN BOARDING SCHOOL
Baku, January 16 (AZERTAC). US Embassy in Azerbaijan today has presented musical instruments to Mardakan boarding school #2, including euphonium (baritone), two alto horns, a stand for bass drum, two trumpet mutes, six instrument cleaning kits, as well as some sheet music. The total amount of this grant is $ 6,500.
“The young people of the orchestra are wonderful representatives of Azerbaijan`s rich musical tradition, and we are pleased to have partnered with them to celebrate our shared love of music”, U.S. Embassy Public Diplomacy Officer Dmitri Tarakhovsky said.
Last year the Embassy presented to the school musical instruments and materials for $ 5,000.
