AZERBAIJAN DELEGATION PARTAKES IN TEHERAN ECO MEETING
The delegation of Azerbaijan led by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov participated in the Economic Cooperation Organization 3rd Ministerial Meeting on Finance/Economy in Teheran.
President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at the meeting that ECO member states will enhance cooperation in all spheres including finance and economy.
Speaking to the event, Sharifov told of the Azerbaijan government`s monetary and credit policy to mitigate the effects of the financial crisis on Azerbaijan. Minister said Azerbaijan is ready to use every opportunity to expand cooperation within ECO in the financial sector.
After two-day discussion, a draft official document prepared by the working group has been adopted.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Iran Abbasguli Hasanov was present at the meeting.
