Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met President of the Swiss Confederation Pascal Couchepin, President of the National Council Andre Bugnon and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Micheline Calmy-Rey, as part of his working visit to Switzerland.

According to the Azerbaijani embassy in Switzerland, during the meetings the sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, including economic and energy cooperation. They also exchanged views on the prospects of high-level political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, outcomes of the recent Baku energy summit, Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan and current political situation in the region.
