AZERBAIJAN HOLDS SPECIAL PLACE IN BSEC
As reported, regular meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation will pass in November in Kishinev. In meeting, in which will take part also delegation of Azerbaijan, the questions, concerning economic, social and cultural spheres will be discussed. The vice-president of the organization, MP Asaf Hajiyev has informed that the discussions will basically revolve around the process of globalization ongoing in the world.
The heads of delegations of member countries will make reports on the mentioned question. The delegations will have exchange of views on globalization and protection of national values, as well as political aspects of globalization. A. Hajiyev has underlined that Azerbaijan holds a special place in the question of the political processes ongoing in the globe. The democratic elections which have taken place in Azerbaijan once again showed that Azerbaijan along with that is a leading state in region from the economic point of view, and on democracy development can be example for other countries also. Events of last time testify to rise of authority of Azerbaijan in this structure and in whole, in the Back Sea region.
A. Hajiyev noticed that during discussion of economic problems he will make the major report. It is appropriate that the member of delegation of Azerbaijan was one of the basic lecturers on the previous General Assembly. The great prestige of Azerbaijan is connected with economic development, successful external and internal policy of the country. And it means that Azerbaijan holds a special place in this Organization.
Meeting participants will also have comprehensive exchange of views on social and cultural questions. They will adopt final recommendations to send to parliaments of member countries.
