AZERBAIJAN, KOREA SET UP JOINT ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE
Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Recourses Huseyngulu Bagirov and Korea’s Deputy Minister of Environment Hong Chun Cheok signed an agreement to set up a joint committee on environmental issues in Baku on Tuesday.
Later the same day the committee held its first meeting high on whose agenda was protecting environment, cleaning polluted waters, and reducing atmospheric pollution.
Following the meeting, its participants visited the Alley of Honors to pay respect to the Azerbaijani nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, and laid flowers at the gravesite of Azerbaijani shahids at the Alley of Martyrs.
