AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR TO TURKEY MEETS CHIEF OF TURKISH GENERAL STUFF
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Zakir Hashimov met Friday with Chief of the Turkish General Stuff Ilker Bashbug.
Parties praised the level of friendly relations between the two countries.
Zakir Hashimov briefed Bashbug on the OSCE Minsk Group-mediated talks on the dispute`s settlement.
He stressed Armenia isolated itself from all regional projects due to its non-constructive position.
Ilker Bashbug, in turn, said his country would always support Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
He also condemned the “apology” campaign launched by a group of Turkish intellectuals on the “Armenian genocide,” adding the Turkish army made its position clear on the issue.
