AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION TO ATTEND NASIMI`s JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS IN SYRIA

In accordance with President Ilham Aliyev`s instructions to mark the 640th jubilee of great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imaddaddin Nasimi, a delegation consisting of officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and scholars will visit the Syrian cities of Aleppo, where the poet is buried, and Damascus to attend a series of celebratory events.

Together with their Syrian colleagues, members of the Azeri delegation will participate in a conference dedicated to Nasimi`s life and poetry.

They will also visit the poet`s tomb, Syrian Union of Writers, National Encyclopedia and National Museum.
