AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION VISITS UNITED KINGDOM
The Azerbaijani delegation including acting chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Woman and Child Problems Hijran Huseynova and MP Lala Abbasova visited the United Kingdom from November 8 to 15.
The purpose of the visit was to study UK`s practice in social policy, state care for invalids and disabled children, and get acquainted with relevant projects being carried out in the country.
As part of the visit, the delegation members held several meetings during which they told of measures to improve Azerbaijan `s legislature on protection of the rights of women and children. They also stressed every conditions were created in Azerbaijan for women`s participation in public administration.
