Azerbaijani President receiving thank you letters from citizens

Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). Citizens of Azerbaijan continue sending personal thank you letters to President Ilham Aliyev after officer Ramil Safarov had been extradited to the country where he was immediately pardoned upon his arrival. In their letters to the website of the Presidential Administration, the citizens say they are proud of a powerful Azerbaijani state.

Initiated by national leader Heydar Aliyev, the national strategy of development allowed Azerbaijan become one of the influential actors on the international scene.

The decision with respect to Ramil Safarov testifies to the powerful government and strong will of the leadership of Azerbaijan.

Gunay Taghıyeva says in her letter: “On behalf of Ganja youth, we express our deep gratitude to you. We are very happy that you pardoned Ramil Safarov as soon as he was extradited. Being the youth, we will always try to unite around our President.”

Asmar Mammadova says: “Today I was very glad to hear the wonderful news. We can be proud of Ramil Safarov. I strongly believe that there are lots of honorable sons such as Ramil in our country. I have two brothers. Both of them have already served at the military service and fulfilled the part of their duties to the motherland. I would like to express my deep gratitude to our President Ilham Aliyev and bow before our sons such as Ramil. I`m proud of such brave and honorable sons of Azerbaijan as Ilham Aliyev.”

Anakhanım Taghıyeva writes: “I express my deep gratitude to you for bringing back Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan.”

In his letter, Rovshan Teymurzade says: “I am studying at 11th grade of No 132-134 Education Complex in Baku. With this letter I want to express my deep gratitude to you for pardoning Ramil Safarov. I see myself obliged to write as a model pupil, high achiever and a citizen. I deliver words of gratitude from myself and my family for your humanistic deed and wish you great success in this political line.”

The pardoning of Ramil Safarov has shattered Armenians, and once again proved that the Armenian diaspora`s unjust activity yields no fruits. Firstly, Ramil Safarov is a victim of the Armenian aggression, and it is not Ramil but Armenian aggressors, who have the blood of innocent Azerbaijani children, women and elders on their hands in Malibayli, Garadag and Khojaly, that are punished. Secondly, Ramil Safarov`s trial saw the breach of a fair trial principle. Thirdly, extradition was carried out in accordance with international law and commitments. Fourthly, Ramil Safarov`s pardoning is a special authority vested in the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev`s decision to pardon Ramil Safarov is a remarkable step in Azerbaijan`s path towards victory.

Ziya Gulmaliyev says in his letter: “...All the Azerbaijanis of the world now talk about your deed and pray for you. You have always been able of proving your strong personality with your actions. As citizens we are always ready and obliged for supporting you.”
