Azerbaijani-Romanian Chamber of Commerce opens in Baku
Baku, March 16 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan-Romanian Chamber of Commerce opened in Baku.
The opening ceremony was addressed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania Valeriu Zgonea and head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Rufat Mammadov.
Speakers stressed that the Chamber of Commerce would play important role in the development of economic relations between the two countries, identifying new areas of cooperation and the search for partners.
Valeriu Zgonea said he was very happy during his stay in Baku. “It is gratifying that in a short time, Azerbaijan has achieved a very big development. Economic relations between the two countries need to develop further. Therefore, the holding of the Business Forum and the opening of the Chamber of Commerce are important factors. Romania is interested in development of relations with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Romania are the countries developing steadily in their regions. It is important for mutual investments. The two countries have historically a lot in common”, he underlined.
Head AZPROMO R. Mammadov informed that the two countries develop their relations in many areas, including the economy. A striking example is the opening ceremony of the Chamber of Commerce, which will contribute to the expansion of ties between businessmen of Azerbaijan and Romania, he stressed.
