AZERBAIJAN`S CONSUL GENERAL TO LOS-ANGELES MAKES SPEECH AT PACIFIC INSTITUTE
Consul General of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles, U.S., Elin Suleymanov made a speech at the Pacific Institute on Thursday.
Suleymanov briefed the participants on his country`s key role in the region, energy projects, Azerbaijan-U.S. and Azerbaijan-Turkey relations.
The Consul General also told of Azerbaijan-initiated regional projects and the region`s integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
He also touched upon Azerbaijan`s relations with the Council of Europe, European Union, OSCE and other organizations, as well as the country`s foreign policy directions.
Suleymanov recalled his country`s contribution to the U.S.-led fight against terrorism.
He expressed confidence that close relations between Azerbaijan and the United States would always continue irrespective of the change of administration in the U.S.
