AZERBAIJAN`S HOSTING FOURTH ENERGY SUMMIT – LANDMARK EVENT
Azerbaijan`s hosting the fourth energy summit amidst the globalizing world financial crisis is the historical event. It shows how much Azerbaijan`s prestige increased in the international arena, chairman of the Milli Majlis standing commission on economic policy Ziyad Samadzadeh told AZERTAC correspondent.
According to him, Azerbaijan is the country playing important role in ensuring Europe`s energy security. Armenia`s occupation policy has left this country out of this important event. No project can be implemented in the region without Azerbaijan`s participation. As long as Armenia did not withdraw its troops from occupied territories, this country may not participate in these projects.
