AZERPOST TO JOIN STEFI SYSTEM
The Azerbaijan State postal company “Azerpost” will join the Universal Postal Union`s (UPU) system of Secured Transfer of Electronic Financial Information (STEFI) from the first half of 2009, a source in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies told AZERTAC.
Once licensed by the National Bank of Azerbaijan, local post office will start providing population with banking services.
