Baku, January 14 (AZERTAC). Baku is hosting an international conference entitled “Actual problems of mathematics and informatics” at the Azerbaijan International University (ABU).

Scientists of Azerbaijan and Egypt attend the event, which is organized by the Culture Centers of ABU and Egypt Embassy in Baku.

Addressing to the event, rector of the University, professor Elshad Abdullayev spoke of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev`s great care to education, which is now successfully continuing by President Ilham Aliyev.

He stressed relations between the ABU and Egyptian Universities are successfully expanding.

Egypt`s Ambassador in Baku Saber Abd Elkader Mansour and other speakers stressed the importance of friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries and expressed hope for future continuation of cooperation in education.

The conferees also heard reports on sciences of mathematics and informatics.

The conference will end January 15.
