CHAIRMAN OF AFGHAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY VISITS MUSEUM OF AZERBAIJAN HISTORY
Chairman of the National Assembly of Afghanistan Mohammad Yunus Qanoni visited the Museum of Azerbaijan History in Baku as part of his trip to the country on Tuesday.
The building constructed in the late 19th century was the property of Hajji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, an Azerbaijani magnate and philanthropist. The building was restored to its original appearance under a decree from President Ilham Aliyev. It is now home to more than 300 exhibits, including photos, historic documents and personal belongings of Taghiyev.
Qanoni viewed the displays reflecting all periods of Azerbaijan`s history.
Yunus Qanoni signed the museum`s guest book.
