CHAIRMAN OF NAKHCHIVAN`s SUPREME MAJLIS MEETS PAKISTANI AMBASSADOR

Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov met Pakistan`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Abdul Hamid.

Talibov described Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations as friendly, adding the two countries are successfully cooperating in a number of spheres.

He also praised the launch of an Urdu version of a book about prominent Azerbaijani writer Jalil Mammadguluzade in Pakistan.

Ambassador Abdul Hamid said positions of Pakistan and Azerbaijan coincide both on regional and international issues.

He said his country had always supported Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and backed its position on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Armenia.

The Pakistani Ambassador `s three-day visit to Nakhchivan will see him view historical places and visit industrial enterprises.
