DAY OF NATIONALITIES IN ESTONIA MARKED IN TALLINN
The “Day of Nationalities in Estonia” was marked at ‘Salme’ Cultural centre in capital Tallinn amid celebrations of the 90thtanniversary of the Estonian Republic, according to a source at the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living in Foreign Countries.
Representing Azerbaijan at the event was Estonian-Azerbaijani Cultural Centre ‘Aydan’, which had arranged a pavilion featuring national symbols, history, culture and art of the country, as well as folk music instruments, books, magazines and traditional dishes.
Incidentally, ‘Aydan’ centre was given a diploma for its outstanding contribution to democracy and development of civil society. The evening concluded with concert.
The event was attended by Estonian government officials, representatives of diplomatic corps and ethnic minorities.
