EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE VISITS AZERBAIJAN EMBASSY IN TEHRAN
Special Representative of the European Union on South Caucasus Peter Semneby in the frame of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Tehran Abbasali Hasanov.
Abbasali Hasanov informed on intensive development of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran last years. Noting that a part of Azerbaijani territories is still under occupation of Armenia, the Ambassador underlined that destructive position of the neighboring state creates serious problem for development of region, as well as ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
The Ambassador highlighted on the most interesting aspects of regional security, in particular, concerning the Azerbaijani-Iranian relations.
