ISRAEL KEENS ON AZERBAIJAN`S ICT MARKET
A workshop “Azerbaijan- Israel: prospects of high technologies” today has taken place in Baku in the framework of the 14th International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition - “BakuTel 2008”.
Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Arthur Lenk expressed his satisfaction with participation of Israeli companies in BakuTel-2008 exhibition. He emphasized that over the past two years, two workshops on Information and communication technologies between Azerbaijan and Israel held. Ambassador noted that Israel has the highest proportion of engineers per head.
Diplomat pointed out that “Amos Spacecom”, “Gilat SATCOM”, “Gilat Satellite Networks”, “Ness TSG”, “RADWİN”, “Shamrock International” keen on Azerbaijan`s ICT market.
Azerbaijani Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov told of rapid development of Azerbaijani-Israeli relations in the field of ICT. He noted that for today a number of Israeli companies operate in Azerbaijan. Mr. Abbasov noted that Amos Spacecom is carrying out negotiations with the Ministry to cooperate in the field of satellite communication.
