MEETING WITH AZERBAIJANIS IN GEORGIA HELD IN COUNTRY`S PARLIAMENT
A meeting was held Tuesday with representatives of the Azerbaijani community in Georgia in the country`s parliament.
The meeting focused on the work done to promote Azerbaijani community`s integration into civil society.
Georgian deputy education minister Ana Zhvania briefed on reforms carried out in the country to resolve Azerbaijanis` education-related problems.
According to Zhvania, the number of Azerbaijanis studying in Georgian higher education institutions has increased.
Ana Zhvania also stressed the high-level relations between education ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Chairman of Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee at Georgian Parliament George Arsenishvili told of reforms to be carried out to promote Azerbaijani community`s integration into society.
