Baku, August 29 (AZERTAC). “Monuments to the victims of Khojaly genocide will be erected in different countries of the world. In this regard, the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan carry out relevant activity in various countries. At present we are working in this direction,” spokesman for the Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told media in Baku on Wednesday.

According to Abdullayev, the efforts to bring the truth about the Khojaly genocide to the international community will continue in the future. “We will bring the truth about this tragedy not only to the European and Latin American community, but also to the citizens of other states. In this regard, the work carried out by our diplomatic missions in various countries under the Justice for Khojaly campaign initiated by the Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva is very important,” Abdullayev said.
