PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV ACCEPTS CREDENTIALS OF QATAR`S AMBASSADOR
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today accepted credentials of newly appointed Qatar`s ambassador to Azerbaijan sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Jassem Al Thani.
Qatar`s ambassador conveyed Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani`s greetings to President Ilham Aliyev. Ambassador thanked Azerbaijani leader for accepting the credentials. Al Thani said he is honored to be appointed the ambassador to Azerbaijan. Ambassador assured President Aliyev that he would spare no efforts to strengthen bilateral relations during his tenure.
The Head of State stressed Qatar-Azerbaijan relations are successfully developing.
President Ilham Aliyev noted high-level reciprocal visits are of great importance for expanding cooperation. President Aliyev noted there are huge opportunities for development of bilateral ties. The Head of State wished every success to Qatar`s ambassador and expressed confidence that Al Thani`s diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan would give a fillip to bilateral ties between the two countries.
