PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES REMAINING PARTS OF BRIDGE-TUNNEL COMPLEX
President Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated the remaining parts of the bridge-tunnel complex - three overpasses, one tunnel and reconstructed railway bridge. One overpass and a tunnel were put into operation earlier in July. The complex located at the intersection of Heydar Aliyev, Khatai and Babek avenues has been built by the Akkord Group of Companies.
The length of three overpasses is 439 meters, 512 meters and 390 meters. The tunnel is 428 meters in length. The 81 meter-long railway bridge has been reconstructed.
The bridge complex has been tested by the Russian Institute IMIDIS. Russian experts said the complex meets all standards.
A complex has been equipped with a special heating system preventing the road from freezing.
