PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES ROAD TUNNEL AND PEDESTRIAN SUBWAY
President Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated the road tunnel and pedestrian subway in the Heydar Aliyev Avenue.
The 67m-long subway has been reconstructed by the Sanur Holding Group of Companies in four months. The building materials were brought from Italy, Spain and Turkey.
The construction of the road tunnel at the intersection of the Heydar Aliyev avenue and Aga Nematulula street is underway. It is scheduled to be put into operation in early 2009. The tunnel`s height is 5 meters, width 10 meters, length 287 meters. The width of the lane is 8.5 meters.
