PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES CONGRATULATIONS FROM HIS RUSSIAN COUNTERPART DMITRIY MEDVEDEV
Azerbaijan leader Ilham Aliyev received a message of congratulations on his election as President of the country form his Russian counterpart Dmitriy Medvedev.
“Your landslide victory in the elections is an evidence of people’s strong support for your foreign-policy course and socio-economic reforms being carried out under your leadership.
We are pleased to mention that our deepening political dialogue, enhancing economic and humanitarian cooperation as well as our interaction in regional and international organizations, first and foremost, in CIS, continue to enrich strategic partnership between our two states.
I am convinced that such a joint work meets vital interests of the two nations and serves the cause of peace and progress in the Caucasus,” President Medvedev said in the message.
The Russian leader wished President Aliyev strong health, happiness and every success, and the people of Azerbaijan peace and prosperity.
