PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES CONGRATULATIONS FROM PHILIPPINE COUNTERPART ON RE-ELECTION
President of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has sent a congratulatory message to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on his re-election.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Philippines, I express our warmest congratulations on your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Your victory is a vivid evidence of trust and belief of the Azerbaijan people in you personally and your political course” the Philippines` leader said in her letter.
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo also said the Philippines “is ready to continue working with Azerbaijan towards strengthening and enhancing cooperation in bilateral, regional and multilateral formats.”
