PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES CREDENTIALS OF NEWLY-APPOINTED BELGIAN AMBASSADOR
On December 19, President Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly-appointed Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Philippe Jottard.
During the conversation, the President said bilateral relations between the two countries are at a good level. He pointed out there are wide opportunities to develop Azerbaijan-Belgium relations in various spheres, including in economic one.
President Ilham Aliyev also touched upon Azerbaijan-EU cooperation describing it as developing successfully.
The Head of State wished Philippe Jottard successes during his tenure in Baku, expressing confidence that the Belgian Ambassador will make every effort to contribute to deepening the two countries` relations.
Philippe Jottard said it`s his pleasure to work in Azerbaijan. He vowed to spare no efforts to contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan-Belgium and Azerbaijan-EU relations.
