PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES DEPUTY CHIEF OF TURKISH GENERAL STAFF
On December 22, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Chief of the Turkish General Staff Hasan Igsiz and his accompanying delegation.
The Head of State stressed fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were successfully developing in all spheres.
President Aliyev underlined the importance of military cooperation between the two countries and its contribution to ensuring peace in region.
The Head of State also noted the Turkish delegation`s current visit to Baku would be important to discuss cooperation opportunities and conduct fruitful negotiations.
Hasan Igsiz, in turn, expressed satisfaction with his trip to Baku.
He stressed military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey was of significant importance, adding his current visit would contribute to expanding this cooperation even more.
