PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES WB DELEGATION
On November 18, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of the World Bank led by its Vice-President for Europe and Central Asia Region Shigeo Katsu.
Shigeo Katsu informed the President on the meetings his delegation is planning to have in Azerbaijan, adding they are also going to participate in an event the Asian Development Bank is organizing here in the framework of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program.
President Ilham Aliyev described this visit as a very good opportunity for the WB delegation and relevant government officials to discuss prospects of further cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank.
