PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV SEES BALLET “LEGEND ABOUT LOVE”
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today watched the ballet “Legend about Love” by outstanding composer, USSR people`s artists, people`s artist of Azerbaijan Arif Melikov at the Heydar Aliyev Palace. The ballet was performed by the ballet company of the Academic Mariinsky Theatre of Saint Petersburg, which is in Baku on the occasion of the 75th birthday of gifted Azerbaijani composer marked in Azerbaijan under the President Ilham Aliyev`s order.
During the intermission, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with people`s artist of USSR and Azerbaijan Arif Melikov.
The Head of State Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva once more congratulated Arif Melikov on his jubilee.
Arif Melikov thanked President Ilham Aliyev and presented a CD and album on his creative activity to the Head of State and his spouse.
