PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS ITALIAN PREMIER
Visiting Italy President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Silvio Berlusconi on November 26.
Rapidly developing ties between the two countries were stressed at the meeting. Berlusconi congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his re-election. Italian Premier underlined the importance of Azerbaijani leader`s official visit to Italy.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the expansion of relations between the two countries in the political, economic, humanitarian and other fields, emphasizing bilateral relations would be strengthened even more.
The sides exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.
