PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVES ADB’S DELEGATION
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan today received the delegation led by Haruhiko Kuroda, President of the Asian Development Bank and the Chairperson of ADB`s Board of Directors.
Noting that it was his first visit to Azerbaijan, the ADB president said he was eyewitness of rapid economic development in the country. He expressed admiration for pleasure he received from Baku sights. ”Mr. President, I am convinced that under your leadership the republic will reach further accomplishments,” the guest stressed. According to him, true economic management and effective use of the oil profits will open new opportunities for further progress.
The Head of Azerbaijani State noted high economic growth in the country, underlining that thanks to expedient reforms conducted in all fields the republic doesn’t face economic crisis the world is currently experiencing. President of Azerbaijan also touched upon the programs being realized in the non-oil sector, and expressed confidence for their continuation in the years ahead.
