On December 24, Turkey`s President Abdullah Gul phoned Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The Turkish leader congratulated President Aliyev on his birthday and wished him successes in his activity for the welfare of fraternal Azerbaijani people, and robust health.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude to his Turkish counterpart for warm congratulations and attention.
They praised the level of cooperation between the two countries in all spheres and expressed confidence for further rapprochement.
The Presidents had comprehensive exchange of views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
