PROSPECTS FOR IRAN-AZERBAIJAN DEFENCE COOPERATION TO BE IN SPOTLIGHT

Prospects for defense cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan will be discussed during Iranian Defense Minister Mustafa Mohammad Najar`s visit to Baku, Iran`s ambassador to Azerbaijan Naser Hamidi Zare said.

As part of the visit, he added, the Iranian minister will meet with Azerbaijani officials to discuss regional issues.

The Ambassador noted during the visit several documents on bilateral cooperation were expected to be signed.

He stressed the date and itinerary of the visit is still being specified.
