REPRESENTATIVE OF AZERBAIJAN CENTER FOR CHILDREN` RIGHTS ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Representative of Center for Children`s Rights under Ombudsman Office of Azerbaijan Fargana Mammadkhanova attended an international conference on children as victims of sexual violence held in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Addressing the event, Fargana Mammadkhanova touched upon adoption of laws and documents towards protection of children`s rights in Azerbaijan. According to her, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Convention on the Rights of the Child, the year 2009 was designated as Year of Children`s rights in Azerbaijan.
