Rwandan official: Azerbaijan and Rwanda share common understanding in urban planning
Baku, May 17, AZERTAC
“By observing the achievements and challenges addressed in Baku, one can see a model here. This does not mean simply replicating what exists in Baku, but rather learning from the principles that have contributed to the city’s current development,” Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye, Minister of State in charge of Transport at Rwanda's Ministry of Infrastructure, told AZERTAC on the sidelines of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).
He noted that Rwanda and Azerbaijan enjoy very good bilateral relations and emphasized that the heads of state of the two countries have met several times.
“We particularly share a common understanding in the field of urban planning,” Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye added.
