TO THE PEOPLE OF AZERBAIJAN ON THE OCCASION OF EID AL-ADHA
Dear fellow countrymen!
I extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to all of you on the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice), a symbol of unity of the world Muslims.
The festive holiday embodies readiness of the Muslims for any selflessness in the name of Allah, religion and good aims. At the same time, it symbolizes their commitment to moral and spiritual values, as well as humanism and feelings of brotherhood.
In Azerbaijan, Eid Al-Adha festivities, which became a symbol of national and spiritual unity, purity and generosity, are held with a lot of joy and in high spirits. Prayers are said for the development of our country, welfare and tranquility of the people, as well as for unforgettable memories of the shahids. I express confidence that all dreams and prayers will come true during these blessed days, and the Almighty will have mercy upon our people and our state.
Dear sisters and brothers!
On this holy day, once again I extend my heartfelt greetings to you and all our fellow countrymen in different parts of the world. May this holiday bring strong health to you, happiness to your families and abundance to your homes.
