TURKEY TO HOST PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY MEETING OF TURKIC-SPEAKING COUNTRIES

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 19 hosted a preparatory meeting of conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries due on 21-22 November, AZERTAC correspondent reported.

The Conference is said to be attended by Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Speakers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, who will make reports.

The participants will sign Agreement on establishment of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries.

Heads of the national parliaments` administrations will meet on 20 November. The same day, the Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan will give a reception for the delegations.
