UN SECRETARY GENERAL EXPRESSED DISAPPOINTMENT WITH CONTINUATION OF VIOLENCE IN GAZA
Baku, January 10 (AZERTAC). UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on the Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Olmert and expressed disappointment with the continuation of violence in Gaza, despite the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution on immediate ceasefire, the UN Information Center said.
The Resolution of the UN Security Council was adopted on 8 January and was voted for by 14 Council members with one abstainer, the United States.
