US TO ADD KOSOVO, AZERBAIJAN TO TRADE BENEFITS PROGRAM
The United States will add Azerbaijan and Kosovo to the list of beneficiary developing countries under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) program, AZERTAC said citing US White House website.
On this occasion, US President George Bush sent Friday an official letter to the Congress.
In his letter, the US President said he has decided to improve economic relations with Azerbaijan.
US Generalized System of Preferences program provides duty-free entry for more than 4,650 products from 131 designated countries and territories.
