World Economic Forum in Baku ends with closing dinner
Baku, April 8 (AZERTAC). The World Economic Forum Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia has ended in Baku with the closing dinner.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attended the event.
The closing dinner was moderated by Victor Halberstadt, Professor of Economics, Leiden University, the Netherlands.
Welcoming remarks were made by Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum.
Discussion leaders included Gordon Birrell, Regional President, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, BP, Azerbaijan, the Duke of York, Alexey Martyanov, Deputy General Director, Senior Associate, Russian Direct Investment Fund, Russian Federation, and Aydin Aliyev, chairman of Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.
President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the event.
