Azerbaijani master of Waseda University to give lessons for Japanese pupils
Tokyo, June 14 (AZERTAC). Master of Waseda University Emil Jafarzade will give lessons on Azerbaijan for Japanese pupils within the program “Foreign student - teacher”.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Japan Gursel Ismayilzade participated in the ceremony on the occasion of start-up of the program. The diplomat said when he was a student he had also participated in this program and updated the Japanese pupils on Azerbaijan. He wished success the participants from other countries in such honorable activity, as popularization of his country.
“The aim of participation in the program of the Japanese non-governmental organization-Association in promotion to the international mutual understanding- is to acquaint Japanese pupils with achievements of rapidly developing Azerbaijan,” said Jafarzade in his interview to AZERTAC special correspondent. He thanked the embassy of Azerbaijan in Japan for study aids about Azerbaijan - state flag, various literature, maps, CDs and DVDs.
On ancient history, rich culture and prominent figures of Azerbaijani nation, Jafarzade said he would notify the Japanese children about achievements of Azerbaijan gained over the past 20 years.
