German Azerbaijani artist`s jubilee exhibition kicks off in Baku
Baku, April 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism has launched a personal exhibition of Germany-based Azerbaijani Honored Art Worker Ebrahim Ehrari at the Museum Centre to mark his 75th anniversary.
Ehrari was born in 1938 in Urmia, South Azerbaijan. He moved to Europe in 1966, and studied with Professors Wolfgang Ludwig and Hans Fortsch at the Subject Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin.
In 1973 he began to work at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Tehran University and got a professorship at the Academy of Applied Arts in the field of graphic techniques.
In 1975 he returned to Europe and studied art history at Berlin`s Free University. Since 1976 he has been a member of the Berlin Federal Association of Visual Artists.
The seven-day exhibition demonstrates the artist`s paintings and graphic works.
