An international conference on learning the Arabic started on December 24 in Azerbaijan International University.

The event organized by Egypt Embassy to Azerbaijan and Egypt`s Cultural Center (ECC) brought together Ambassadors of the foreign countries, scientists and students.

Addressing the conference participants, Egyptian Ambassador Sabir Abdulgadir Mansur underlined that learning of the Arabic language in Azerbaijan will give impetus to development of the intercultural dialogue between the two countries. Head of ECC Adel Darvish emphasized that Arabic language school was opened in Absheron region and the Egypt`s Cultural Center instituted 12 prizes for the school pupils.

A conference will be continued on December 25.
