MICROSOFT-AZERBAIJAN LAUNCHES CHILD SAFETY ONLINE PILOT PROJECT

Microsoft-Azerbaijan has launched the Child Safety Online pilot project on Tuesday in collaboration with Azerbaijan Internet Forum and the ministry of education.

A ceremony at the Park INN hotel in Baku was attended by the company`s representatives and officials of the ministry.

The project is aimed at raising public awareness on the problem of child safety online and initiating discussions on legislation improvement related to cyber crime and information security.

Speakers at the ceremony, including Director General of Microsoft-Azerbaijan Teymur Akhundov, deputy minister of education Irada Huseynova, head of informatization department at the ministry Samir Mammadov and president of the Azerbaijan Internet Forum Osman Gunduz sang the praises of the project`s launch in the country.
