Representatives of Korea International Cooperation Agency visit Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Education
Baku, February 25 (AZERTAC). A delegation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), headed by the Agency`s Resident Representative of Azerbaijan Office Kim Eun Suk, has today visited Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Education.
The KOICA delegation had a meeting with Minister Misir Mardanov, who spoke of Azerbaijan-Korea relations and joint education projects. Mardanov hailed KOICA`s contribution to educational cooperation between the two countries, saying he hopes this cooperation would further develop.
Briefing on KOICA`s worldwide programs, Kim Eun Suk noted the role of new projects in boosting the bilateral cooperation. On distance learning and online document management service, the Resident Representative stressed the importance of launching discussions in this regard.
Mardanov said the Ministry is interested in realizing projects concerning qualification via distance learning and online document management service. The Minister expressed confidence that a distance learning program will yield positive results for Azerbaijan`s education.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
KOICA is the agency of South Korea`s Government in charge of implementing financial aid and technical cooperation programs in many countries across the world.
