Three workers of BBC-3 radio visit Azerbaijan
Baku, April 2 (AZERTAC). Three workers of BBC-3 radio, Lucy Duran, James Parkin and Melanie, have paid a visit to Azerbaijan.
Their visit aimed to prepare for the music project of Azerbaijan to be performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Talented khananda Gochag Asgarov and his student Fidan Hajiyeva will perform at the event.
Master classes are planned to be held as part of the rehearsal. The master classes will then continue in Shamakhi with participation of khananda Alim Gasimov and his daughter Fargana.
Gochag Asgarov said that the same crew will be our guest also in May. The concert at the Royal Albert Hall will be held on 22 April.
The concert is a joint initiative of the Royal Albert hall, BBC-3 and expert of UNESCO, musicologist Sanubar Bagirova.
