AZERBAIJAN, RUSSIA TO BOOST CULTURAL COOPERATION
Azerbaijan`s minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev and Russian culture minister Aleksandr Avdeev have signed an agreement in Baku on the sidelines of the Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Culture.
The document envisages cooperation between the two countries` museums, conduct of days of culture and reciprocal visits by workers of culture.
“This accord will mark a new era in cooperation between the two countries” said Garayev.
“Our states have a long history of cultural ties. Holding reciprocal days of culture point to close relations between Azerbaijan and Russia” he said.
Avdeev in turn said “the document reflects the dialogue among cultures - the theme of the CoE ministerial conference in Baku.”
