Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister holds bilateral meetings in France
Baku, March 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov has held a number of meetings in Paris as he is on a visit to attend the 50th International Agricultural Fair.
The Minister met President of the General Council for Yonne department, Burgundy, André Villiers. They discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Yonne department, as well as results of negotiations during André Villiers` visit to Baku.
Abasov also met prefect of Yonne department Raymond Le Deun who said France was ready to expand overall cooperation with Azerbaijan. The Azeri Minister praised the events initiated by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, first lady Mehriban Aliyeva, adding these events had made an outstanding contribution to popularizing Azerbaijan.
Minister Abasov also met Mayor of Chablis province Patrick Gendraud with whom they reached agreement to build cooperation in wine making.
In Chablis, Abasov also attended the launch of an exhibition supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
