AZERI SCHOOLBOY WINS GOLD MEDAL AT 2nd INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF CHILDREN`S PAINTINGS

Azerbaijani 15-year old schoolboy Ali Heydarov has won a gold medal at the 2nd International Exhibition of Children`s Paintings held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The 7-day exhibition, entitled “Joy of Tashkent” was organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and Gallery of Fine Arts in Tashkent.

Azerbaijan sent 30 pictures by 14 schoolchildren to the exhibition.

The Grand Prix of the exhibition was awarded to Egyptian Nardina Ibrahim.

The other gold winners were children from Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus and China.
